We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Hygiene & Stewarding Manager to join our team in Ras Al-Khaimah, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will oversee all hygiene, sanitation, and stewarding operations to ensure the highest standards of cleanliness and food safety compliance. You will lead a team of stewarding staff, manage daily operations, and maintain rigorous adherence to health and safety regulations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership capabilities, exceptional organizational skills, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and hygienic environment across all facilities.

• Supervise and manage the stewarding team, including scheduling, training, and performance management

• Develop, implement, and enforce comprehensive hygiene and sanitation protocols and procedures

• Conduct regular inspections of facilities, equipment, and work areas to ensure compliance with health and safety standards

• Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, equipment, and materials; manage procurement and budgeting

• Ensure strict adherence to food safety regulations, health codes, and organizational policies

• Train staff on proper hygiene practices, food handling procedures, and use of cleaning equipment

• Maintain detailed documentation and records of sanitation activities, inspections, and corrective actions

• Identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to enhance operational efficiency

• Collaborate with management and other departments to address hygiene-related concerns and incidents

• Respond promptly to maintenance issues and coordinate repairs or replacements as needed

• Conduct audits and quality assurance checks to verify compliance with established standards

• Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding operational updates and challenges

• Proven experience as a Hygiene Manager, Stewarding Manager, or similar supervisory role in hospitality, food service, or facilities management

• Strong knowledge of food safety standards, health codes, and sanitation best practices

• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and develop team members

• Excellent organizational and time management skills

• Detail-oriented with strong attention to quality and compliance

• Proficiency in inventory management and basic budgeting

• Knowledge of cleaning equipment, chemicals, and sanitation procedures

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Problem-solving ability and sound decision-making judgment

• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

• Familiarity with documentation systems and record-keeping practices

• Preferred: Experience with HACCP (Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points) or similar food safety management systems

• Preferred: Knowledge of facility management software or systems

• Preferred: Food safety certification or relevant hygiene training
