Our team is dedicated to building lasting relationships with patients through specialized periodontal treatment and education. We're looking for a passionate and dedicated Dental Hygienist to join our team.
Job Description: As a Periodontal Hygienist, you will play a vital role in our patient care team. You will be responsible for performing dental cleanings, conducting oral health assessments, and educating patients on oral hygiene and periodontal health. Your expertise, clinical judgment, and patient relationships are highly valued, and you will play an integral role in supporting treatment outcomes and the long-term health of our patients. This is an opportunity to work alongside a surgeon who deeply respects and relies on their hygienist as a key provider within the practice.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough oral health assessments and report findings to the surgeon
- Take dental x-rays using handheld x-ray machines
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and preventative care
- Assist the surgeon during exams and procedures as needed
- Maintain accurate patient records and treatment plans
- Stay up to date with the latest dental practices and technologies

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work well with patients of all ages
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient care
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1+ years of dental hygiene experience
- Periodontal or specialty practice experience
What We Offer:

- Paid time off (PTO, sick time, holidays, parental leave)
- 401k retirement savings with company match
- Additional benefits (medical, vision, dental, short- and long-term disability, and more) are available for full-time employees working 30+ hours/week
- Variability in hygiene scheduling which helps break up the typical back-to-back cleaning appointments
- The most up to date and cutting-edge technology, such as EMS air flow system
