Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator

Role: Hyperbaric Safety Coordinator responsible for the daily operation, maintenance, and safety oversight of hyperbaric chambers and related equipment.

Responsibilities: Ensure safe hyperbaric procedures, provide training to nursing and technical staff on chamber operations and safety protocols, and maintain compliance with safety standards and codes.

Qualifications: Completion of an NBDHMT-recognized hyperbaric medicine course or equivalent military training, with at least two years of experience in monoplace hyperbaric chamber operation and maintenance.

Preferred Skills & Certifications: Basic computer skills, effective communication, problem-solving, team building, knowledge of hyperbaric standards, and leadership experience. Must hold a license approved by NBDHMT (e.g., EMT, LPN, RN) and Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT) certification. Completion of the hyperbaric safety director course within 18 months of hire is required.

Key Duties: Oversee hyperbaric chamber operations, ensure safety protocols, provide staff training, and maintain compliance with safety standards.

Work Environment: Full-time, Monday to Friday, with no weekends or holidays, primarily during daytime hours.
