IAM Architect

Senior IAM Architect | 📍 Remote (EU) | 💸 Up to €39/hour | 3-month contract

I'm working with an organisation that's kicking off a strategic review of its Identity & Access Management landscape, and they need a Senior IAM Architect to help shape what comes next.

The timing is what makes this one interesting: there's immediate IAM delivery to keep moving, and a bigger piece of work defining the future identity vision, so you'll be doing both.

This is a varied role for someone who enjoys owning the architecture but is just as happy to roll their sleeves up and help with the engineering when it's needed.

What you'll be doing:

• Defining enterprise IAM architecture and target-state designs
• Building IAM roadmaps aligned with business and security objectives
• Designing identity solutions across on-premises, cloud and SaaS environments
• Providing architectural leadership across IAM, IGA, PAM, SSO, MFA and access management
• Leading or supporting a strategic review of the current IAM environment
• Assessing current-state capabilities, identifying gaps and recommending prioritised improvements
• Turning strategic recommendations into practical delivery plans
• Getting hands-on with engineering support where needed

What they're looking for:

• Significant IAM architecture experience in large, complex organisations
• Proven experience designing identity solutions across hybrid environments
• Strong expertise across Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, SSO, MFA and access governance
• Experience creating target-state architectures and transformation roadmaps
• Someone comfortable moving between strategy and hands-on implementation
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management and leadership skills

The details:

• 3-month initial contract, with potential extension
• Up to €39/hour, fully remote (EU), 09:00–17:00 CET or BST
