IAM Automation Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Engineer – IAM Automation with strong hands-on software development and automation experience. The candidate will work on IAM applications, enterprise integrations, automation solutions, and platform engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and support IAM applications, integrations, and automation solutions.
• Build automation scripts and tools using Java, Python, PowerShell, and Shell scripting.
• Develop and integrate REST APIs, web services, databases, and enterprise applications.
• Work on user lifecycle, access provisioning/de-provisioning, role management, access reviews, and related IAM processes.
• Troubleshoot technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement solutions.
• Automate manual processes and develop reusable tools/components.
• Collaborate with IAM, security, infrastructure, application, and operations teams.
• Prepare technical documentation, deployment procedures, and operational runbooks.

About you

• 4–5+ years of strong software development experience.
• Hands-on experience with Java, Python, PowerShell, and Shell scripting.
• Strong programming, debugging, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills.
• Good knowledge of REST APIs, JSON, XML, web services, and system integrations.
• Good understanding of SQL and databases.
• Strong understanding of software engineering and coding principles.
• Ability to learn new technologies and IAM platforms quickly.
• Experience with SailPoint IdentityIQ (IIQ) – workflows, rules, connectors, lifecycle events, certifications, and provisioning.
• Knowledge of PAM/CyberArk.
• Exposure to AI/Generative AI, RAG, prompt engineering, embeddings, and vector search.
