IAM Engineer

Are you a driven Identity & Access Management specialist eager to make a real impact within a critical production environment? At Randstad Digital, we are looking for a Senior IAM / IGA Operations Engineer to strengthen the IAM team at SFPD. In this role, you will take direct responsibility for the management, availability, and evolution of our core identity platforms (Keycloak & MidPoint). You will play a pivotal role in maintaining security infrastructure, resolving complex incidents, and guiding strategic platform upgrades.

Your Tasks:

• Manage and monitor the daily operation, stability, and performance of Keycloak (IAM) and MidPoint (IGA).
• Analyze logs and perform deep root-cause analyses during authentication, authorization, and provisioning incidents.
• Manage TLS and IdP certificates (SAML / OIDC) and support connected databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
• Prepare and execute minor/major platform upgrades, migrations, and environment validations.
• Configure authentication flows, roles, policies, and joiner/mover/leaver processes.
• Onboard new applications via OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML, as well as manage target system integrations.
• Automate operational tasks and provisioning flows using scripting languages (Groovy, Python, JavaScript).
• Draft and maintain technical documentation and foster active knowledge sharing and coaching within the team.
• Collaborate closely with infrastructure, security, and development teams as the key technical point of contact.

Your Profile:

• Proven operational experience managing IAM and/or IGA platforms within complex enterprise environments.
• Strong hands-on experience with Keycloak and/or MidPoint, backed by deep knowledge of OIDC, OAuth2, and SAML.
• Solid background in Linux troubleshooting and experience with relational databases (PostgreSQL, MariaDB).
• Familiarity with LDAP / directory services, High Availability (HA) architectures, and process automation via scripting.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving mindset with a high degree of ownership and proactivity.
• Excellent communication skills and a team-oriented, coaching mindset.
• Fluent technical English with active knowledge of Belgium's second national language (Dutch/French).
