IAM Engineer (m/f/d)

A well-established international organization operating in a complex and highly regulated environment is looking for an experienced IAM/PAM Engineer to join its IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the configuration, development, integration, and ongoing improvement of Identity & Access Management (IAM) and Privileged Access Management (PAM) solutions, supporting secure and efficient access across the organization.

Responsibilities:

• Configure, tune, develop, and maintain IAM/PAM solutions, including Identity Management, Access Management, Identity Governance, and Privileged Access Management.
• Integrate new business applications, systems, roles, and profiles into the IAM/PAM environment while applying relevant best practices and procedures.
• Provide technical support and maintenance, investigate incidents and issues, and coordinate updates, patches, and upgrades with external partners when required.
• Design, develop, and implement IAM/PAM workflows, approval processes, new features, and integrations based on business requirements.
• Streamline user provisioning and access governance processes, configure platform integrations, and develop automated IAM/PAM reporting.
• Participate in IAM/PAM projects and audits while collaborating with and supporting colleagues across the organization.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Informatics, Computer Science, or a related field, with 5+ years of IT experience.
• Strong scripting skills using PowerShell, VBScript, Python, and Bash.
• Solid knowledge of directory services and identity and access management concepts.
• Experience with web technologies and protocols, including SOAP, REST, Java, and OIDC.
• Good knowledge of Linux (Red Hat) and Windows Server 2016 environments.
• Strong problem-solving, critical-thinking, communication, and collaboration skills; English is required, while Dutch and/or French are considered an advantage.
