IAM, Full Stack Developer

Job Summary

We are looking for a motivated Junior to Mid-Level ServiceNow & Full Stack Developer to join our growing engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and supporting solutions within the ServiceNow platform while also contributing to custom web application development across the full technology stack.

You will work closely with senior engineers in an Agile environment to build scalable solutions, troubleshoot complex system issues, and deliver high-quality software that supports business operations.

Key Responsibilities

ServiceNow Development

• Configure, customize, and enhance ServiceNow applications and modules.
• Develop workflows, automations, and integrations using Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Actions, and Flow Designer.
• Support Service Portal development and platform enhancements.

Full Stack Application Development

• Design, develop, test, and maintain web applications and services.
• Build responsive front-end applications using Vue.js and modern JavaScript frameworks.
• Develop back-end services using Java, Spring Boot, Python, Flask, or Groovy.

API Development & Integration

• Design and consume RESTful APIs and integrate solutions across ServiceNow and enterprise platforms.
• Troubleshoot and maintain system integrations.

UI/UX & User Experience

• Create intuitive user interfaces and collaborate on wireframes and prototypes.
• Work with tools such as Figma and other modern design platforms.

System Analysis & Troubleshooting

• Investigate and resolve application issues across front-end, back-end, integrations, and databases.
• Monitor performance and identify opportunities for system improvements.

Agile Delivery & Documentation

• Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog grooming, and retrospectives.
• Create and maintain technical documentation, Jira tickets, and user stories.

Code Quality & Best Practices

• Write clean, maintainable, and testable code.
• Develop automated unit tests to improve application reliability.
• Follow software design principles, security standards, and development best practices.

Database Management

• Work with relational and non-relational databases, including PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, and Redis.

Version Control & Collaboration

• Collaborate using Git and established branching strategies.
• Participate in code reviews and team knowledge-sharing activities.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2 to 4 years of professional software development experience.
• Experience or exposure to ServiceNow platform development.
• Knowledge of JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern front-end frameworks such as Vue.js or React.
• Experience developing applications using Java (Spring Boot), Python (Flask), or similar technologies.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and system integrations.
• Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience using Git for version control.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Comfortable working in Linux environments.

Preferred Qualifications

The following are advantageous but not required:

• ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) and/or Certified Application Developer (CAD).
• Experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM/IDM) solutions.
• Exposure to AI-assisted development tools and AI integrations.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins.
• Familiarity with Docker containers and Nginx.
• Understanding of secure coding practices and OWASP standards.

The successful candidate will work closely with the GIS team and collaborate with both internal and external stakeholders to support and enhance enterprise platforms and applications.
