IAM Operations, Analyst

Job Purpose:

This role will support the organization's IAM operations by managing access requests, troubleshooting authentication and access issues, and ensuring adherence to security and compliance requirements. Work closely with business and technology teams to deliver a seamless and secure user access experience.

Responsibilities:

• Serve as the primary point of contact for AIA staff on Identity & Access Management (IAM) related requests, inquiries, and issues.
• Support resolution of IAM-related issues, including account access, MFA, SSO, and privileged access issues, ensuring timely communication with users.
• Review and validate access requests to ensure compliance with established IAM policies, approval requirements, and security standards.
• Support user access reviews, audit requests, and compliance activities by coordinating with stakeholders and maintaining required documentation.
• Monitor and track IAM service requests, escalations, and operational metrics to ensure adherence to service level agreements (SLAs).
• Identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and enhanced user experience within IAM-related services.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 2–5 years of experience in IT support, IT operations, Identity & Access Management (IAM), Information Security, or Service Management.
• Good understanding of IAM concepts, including user lifecycle management, access controls, MFA, SSO, and privileged access management.
• Experience coordinating with multiple stakeholders, including end users, application owners, and technology support teams.
• Familiarity with IAM solutions such as Okta, SailPoint, Active Directory, Entra ID (Azure AD), CyberArk, or similar platforms is preferred.
• Strong problem-solving, communication, and customer service skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Knowledge of ITIL processes, audit requirements, and information security controls is an advantage.
