I&C Lead Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and supervise instrumentation and control engineering activities throughout the project lifecycle.
• Review and approve instrument indexes, datasheets, I/O lists, loop diagrams, wiring diagrams, and installation details.
• Oversee instrument selection, technical specifications, and engineering deliverables in accordance with project requirements.
• Lead the preparation and review of instrumentation design documents, technical evaluations, and purchase specifications.
• Coordinate instrumentation and control interfaces with process, electrical, mechanical, and other engineering disciplines.
• Review and approve supplier technical documents in coordination with the Supply Chain team.
• Ensure compliance with project specifications, applicable codes, standards, and client requirements.
• Coordinate and supervise calibration, loop checks, FAT, SAT, testing, and commissioning activities.
• Provide technical guidance and resolve instrumentation and control issues during installation and commissioning.
• Monitor engineering progress, deliverable schedules, and technical quality to ensure timely project execution.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, suppliers, and project teams to resolve technical issues.
• Ensure the preparation, review, and completion of final documentation, as-built drawings, and handover documents.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Instrumentation, Control, Electrical, or Electronics Engineering.
• Minimum 10 years of experience in Instrumentation and Control Engineering, including at least 3 years in a lead or supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of industrial instrumentation, process analyzers, control systems, and instrumentation interfaces.
• Proven experience in detailed engineering, instrument selection, technical specifications, and engineering document reviews.
• Strong ability to read and interpret P&IDs, control diagrams, loop diagrams, and instrumentation drawings.
• Experience with DCS, PLC, SCADA, and industrial control systems.
• Experience in FAT, SAT, calibration, loop checks, testing, and commissioning.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience in water treatment, chemical dosing, or industrial process projects is preferred.
• Strong leadership, coordination, problem-solving, and technical reporting skills.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
