What You’ll Need To Succeed

• Proven senior-level experience in instrumentation and electrical design within industrial or pipeline projects
• Expertise in preparing process flow diagrams (PFD), piping & instrument diagrams (P&ID), equipment layouts, plot plans, and equipment/instrument lists
• Strong knowledge of assigning electrical equipment, instrument tagging, conduit, and cable numbering
• Ability to resolve drawing development issues efficiently and accurately
• Skilled in drafting changes to record drawings and maintaining detailed project documentation
• Excellent communication skills to coordinate with vendors, project managers, and cross-disciplinary teams
• Familiarity with developing project scopes, engineering/design scopes, and construction scopes of work
• Proficiency with design software and CAD tools, along with a commitment to developing and maintaining standard drawings and procedures

Nice To Have Skills

• Experience in developing material data sheets and parts lists through material take-offs
• Knowledge of specifications and procedures related to technical design and documentation
• Ability to review man-hour estimates and work schedules for project efficiency
• Experience with vendor communications for material quotes and availability
• Familiarity with project logistics and the coordination of multiple stakeholders

Preferred Education And Experience

• Advanced technical degree or equivalent experience in electrical, instrumentation, or related engineering fields
• Senior-level design experience in industrial plant, pipeline, or facility projects
• Demonstrated success in managing design and drafting tasks within complex projects

Other Requirements

• Willingness and ability to travel via air and/or automobile to various facility sites as needed
• Commitment to maintaining high standards of safety, accuracy, and professional integrity
