IBM BAW Architect

About Nagarro

Nagarro is a global digital engineering company, helping organisations transform through data, cloud, AI and digital engineering. Following our acquisition of FWD View, we’ve also significantly expanded our specialist capability across Data, Data Governance and Financial Services.

We’re currently delivering a major Data Governance and Data Quality transformation for a global banking client across the Americas, and we’re looking for a hands-on IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) Architect to join the Nagarro team.

The role

You’ll take technical ownership of an existing IBM BAW / IBM BPM workflow application, supporting both its ongoing development and its evolution towards a modernised architecture.

This is very much a hands-on architecture role, combining solution design with the technical depth to work closely with engineering teams, troubleshoot complex issues and guide integrations across the wider data ecosystem.

• Strong IBM Business Automation Workflow (BAW) / IBM BPM experience
• Hands-on workflow and process application architecture
• Strong BPMN knowledge
• Experience with BAW REST APIs and enterprise integrations
• Java / JavaScript development knowledge
• Strong SQL and database understanding
• Experience with WebSphere environments
• Knowledge of authentication/security including LDAP, Active Directory and SSO
• Production troubleshooting, deployment and application lifecycle experience
• Experience integrating workflow platforms with wider enterprise applications and data services

Exposure to some of the following would be beneficial:

• Collibra
• Data Governance / Data Quality platforms
• Databricks / Lakehouse
• Azure
• Python / Django
• React
• Tivoli / IBM Workload Scheduler
• Application modernisation programmes
