IC Failure Analysis

About the role

IC Failure Analysis role supporting failure analysis across the product lifecycle from NPI to EOL, implementing quality control procedures, and conducting chip-level failure analysis activities.

Key responsibilities

• Automate failure analysis across the product lifecycle (NPI to EOL)
• Implement quality control procedures and standards
• Analyze product specifications and ensure compliance with industry standards
• Conduct inspections and tests to identify defects and issues
• Collaborate with engineering and cross-functional teams to resolve quality issues
• Monitor and report on quality performance and trends
• Support test tools bring-up, maintenance, and sustaining product activities
• Support chip-level failure analysis, including reballing, curve tracing, ATE testing, SLT testing, CSAM, and IR

About you

• BS or MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering or a related field; EE preferred
• Experience in product quality / test engineering or a similar role
• Strong knowledge of quality control principles and practices
• Experience with quality management systems and tools
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Attention to detail and a commitment to excellence
• Quick learner with excellent team collaboration skills
• Good knowledge of CPU / SoC products and standards (nice to have)
• Hands-on expertise in scripting languages such as C / C++ / Linux (nice to have)
