• We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Electrical and Electronics Technician (Artificer Technician) to join our team

• The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and electronic systems and equipment

• The role requires a strong understanding of electrical systems, circuitry, and technical schematics, with the ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

Key Responsibilities:

• Installation and Maintenance: Install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment, including circuits, sensors, control systems, and wiring
• Perform preventive maintenance to ensure optimal system performance and minimize downtime
• Troubleshooting and Repairs: Diagnose and resolve technical issues related to electrical and electronic systems using diagnostic tools and testing instruments
• Repair or replace defective components to restore equipment functionality
• Technical Support: Provide technical support and guidance to operators and other team members regarding equipment usage and maintenance
• Assist in the development and implementation of safety protocols and procedures
• Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections
• Prepare technical reports and documentation for future reference and compliance purposes
• Compliance and Safety: Ensure all electrical work complies with industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines
• Adhere to company policies and procedures to promote a safe working environment
• Equipment Upgrades and Modifications: Assist in system upgrades and modifications to improve efficiency and performance
• Collaborate with engineering teams to implement new technologies and solutions
• Quality Assurance: Conduct quality checks and tests to ensure the proper functioning of installed systems
• Identify and address potential risks or inefficiencies in electrical components

Requirements

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics Engineering or a related field
• Proven experience as an electrical/electronics technician, preferably in an industrial or manufacturing environment
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring diagrams, and schematic interpretation
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools, multimeters, oscilloscopes, and other testing instruments
• Familiarity with PLCs, automation systems, and control circuits
• Understanding of safety regulations and compliance standards (e g, OSHA, IEC, IEEE)
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong communication and teamwork abilities
• Ability to work independently and under minimal supervision
• Willingness to work in shifts and respond to emergency repairs when required

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in electrical or electronics-related courses
• Experience with maintenance management systems (CMMS)
