Responsibilities

• Scoop and serve ice cream, gelato, and other frozen desserts accurately and efficiently
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions
• Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling products to enhance guest experience
• Maintain cleanliness of the workspace, including sanitizing utensils, counters, and equipment
• Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and give accurate change
• Assist in food preparation tasks as needed, including topping stations and ingredient setup
• Ensure food safety and sanitation standards are consistently followed in accordance with health regulations

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or quick service restaurant environments
• Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS for retail sales transactions
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude
• Ability to multitask efficiently during busy periods while maintaining accuracy in cash handling and order management
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions and managing change accurately
• Knowledge of food safety practices and sanitation procedures in a food industry setting
• Excellent time management skills to ensure quick service without compromising quality
