Duties

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings
• Scoop ice cream accurately and efficiently using proper techniques to ensure quality and presentation
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for processing sales transactions smoothly
• Manage customer orders with precision, ensuring quick turnaround times during busy hours
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, including sanitation of equipment and utensils in compliance with food safety standards
• Upsell additional toppings or specialty items to enhance the customer experience and increase sales
• Handle cash register operations, process cash and card transactions, and give accurate change

Skills

• Proven experience in food preparation, food handling, or food service environments, especially quick service or fast food restaurants
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for retail sales transactions
• Strong time management skills to handle high-volume periods efficiently without compromising quality
• Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, energetic demeanor that encourages repeat visits
• Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely and maintain sanitation standards throughout the shift
• Basic math skills for processing cash transactions accurately and managing register operations
• Knowledge of food safety management practices to ensure a clean, safe environment for both staff and guests
