Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process retail sales transactions accurately
• Scoop ice cream with precision, ensuring proper portioning and presentation for each order
• Manage food handling procedures in accordance with food safety standards and sanitation protocols
• Upsell additional toppings, cones, or specialty items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales
• Maintain a clean workspace by regularly sanitizing equipment, counters, and utensils throughout shifts
• Handle cash register operations, process cash and card payments, and balance cash drawers at the end of each shift
• Operate kitchen equipment safely, including freezers, refrigerators, and other food preparation tools
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, resolving issues promptly, and ensuring a positive experience
• Support team members during busy periods by assisting with food preparation or restocking supplies

Experience

• Previous food service or quick service restaurant experience preferred; familiarity with fast-paced environments is a plus
• Experience with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS highly desirable
• Background in food handling, safety management, or sanitation practices is beneficial
• Retail sales experience involving cash handling or cashiering enhances your suitability for this role
• Strong time management skills to efficiently serve customers during peak hours
• Culinary experience or kitchen work provides a solid foundation for operating kitchen equipment safely
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented setting while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and customer care

Pay: $15.00 - $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 10.0 – 20.0 per week
