We are seeking a friendly, enthusiastic, and outgoing Ice Cream Scooper to join our team! In this role, you will be responsible for serving delicious beverages and snacks while providing exceptional customer service. You will play a key role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our patrons, ensuring that every visit is enjoyable and memorable.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including sodas, milkshakes, and floats, following established recipes.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the work area, including equipment and utensils.
• Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system efficiently to process customer orders and handle cash transactions.
• Engage with customers to provide recommendations and upsell menu items effectively.
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods.
• Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations in all food handling practices.
• Assist in food preparation as needed, ensuring quality standards are met.
• Perform basic math calculations for order accuracy and inventory management.

Skills

• Strong knowledge of food handling practices and food safety regulations.
• Experience with POS systems.
• Excellent collaboration skills to work effectively within a team environment.
• Ability to upsell products through effective communication and customer engagement.
• Basic math skills for handling transactions and inventory management.
• Attention to detail in maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Previous experience in food preparation or retail environments is a plus.
