Ice Cream Server/Barista

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting ice cream flavors, beverages, and toppings with enthusiasm.
• Prepare and serve a variety of non-alcoholic beverages, including coffee, specialty drinks, smoothies, and milkshakes, following recipes and safety standards.
• Operate POS systems to process retail sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, counters, equipment, and dining areas to ensure food safety and hygiene standards are met.
• Handle cash transactions with precision, process payments, give change, and balance cash drawers at the end of shifts.
• Follow food handling procedures diligently to ensure all products meet food safety regulations.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, offering recommendations, and creating a positive atmosphere for guests.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or café environments is preferred; barista experience is a plus.
• Familiarity with POS systems for retail transactions.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively.
• Basic math skills for cash handling, giving correct change, and managing retail math calculations.
• Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures.
• Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Time management skills to ensure timely service during busy periods.

Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
