Ice Cream Server/Cashier

Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly and assist them in selecting their favorite ice cream flavors and toppings.
• Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process sales accurately and efficiently.
• Handle cash register operations, including processing cash, credit/debit card transactions, and giving correct change.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of the serving area, utensils, and workspace to ensure food safety standards are met.
• Upsell additional products or upgrades to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales.
• Manage food handling procedures responsibly, including serving ice cream and managing food preparation stations when needed.
• Support food safety management practices and ensure compliance with sanitation regulations at all times.

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or quick service & fast food restaurant environments is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms.
• Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations quickly for cash handling and sales transactions.
• Experience operating kitchen equipment or serving in a café or grocery store setting is a plus.
• Demonstrated time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during busy hours.
• Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures.

Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 12.0 – 40.0 per week
