ICE RINK EVENTS IS HIRING for the roles of Ice Rink Attendant / Skate Monitor / Cashier / Skate Rental Attendant / Event Programming Staff at The Glade in St Louis!

Ice Rink Season: November 2026 – February 2027

Spring/Summer Programming Season: March 2027 – October 2027

We’re looking for outgoing, enthusiastic, and dependable individuals who are excited to help create an amazing experience for our guests. Providing excellent customer service and a positive experience for every guest is our priority.

Positions Include:

Skate Monitors

Responsible for maintaining a welcoming, and enjoyable environment on the ice while assisting and monitoring skaters throughout their session.

• Outgoing, customer service-oriented personality
• Basic ice skating ability preferred (figure skating or hockey)
• Monitor skaters on the ice
• Assist guests as needed
• Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the workday
• Knowledge of basic First Aid is a plus
• Willingness to help in all areas of rink operations
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Cashiers

Greet our guests when they first arrive, scan their tickets, and handle all point of sale transactions.

• Outgoing, customer service-oriented personality
• Previous cashier experience preferred, especially using a touchscreen POS system
• Comfortable operating a POS system in a high-volume environment
• Process cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently
• Check guests in for skating sessions
• Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the workday
• Willingness to help in all areas of rink operations
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Skate Rental Attendants

Provide friendly, efficient assistance to guests by helping with skate selection and exchanges while keeping the rental area organized and ready for use.

• Outgoing, customer service-oriented personality
• Previous customer service experience preferred
• Assist guests with their rental skates selection.
• Help guests with skate exchanges as needed.
• Maintain an organized skate rental area
• Physical ability to walk, stand, bend, twist, and lift throughout the workday
• Willingness to help in all areas of rink operations
• Other duties as assigned by the Supervisor

Event Staff

Help create an exceptional guest experience by engaging with guests, providing assistance, resolving concerns, and supporting events with energy and professionalism.

• Outgoing, energetic, and hospitality-focused personality
• Create an exceptional guest experience throughout the venue
• Engage with guests and ensure everyone is having a great time
• Assist with guest questions and resolve concerns professionally
• Support all operational areas as needed, including setups and teardowns
• Lead by example with enthusiasm, professionalism, and excellent customer service
• Other duties as assigned by the manager

Please note that all position types must be willing and able to work all hours of rink/event operations, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Our Ice Rink Venue operates 7 days a week. Including evenings, weekends, holidays, and School vacations. While the majority of the available positions are part-time, we are seeking people that will commit to working weekends and holidays.
