Your Task

This position involves performing, coordinating, and improving the most complex activities in a 3rd level environment needed to provide IT services and supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPIs. The role focuses on planning, implementing, and maintaining a stable technical infrastructure to support the organization's business processes, while identifying weaknesses in used processes and eliminating them following industry and internal standards. This role is responsible for installation, configuration, and support for LAN/WAN/Wireless solutions.

Responsibilities

• Perform, coordinate and improve most complex activities needed to provide IT services and the supporting infrastructure in order to fulfill relevant KPI's
• Propose and perform regular inspections and improvement recommendations
• Diagnose and resolve complex tickets or escalate complex tickets with direct/potential impact related to IT infrastructure
• Investigate the root cause of complex incidents and then initiate actions to improve or correct the situation
• Evaluate, authorize, prioritize, plan, test, implement, document and review complex changes in controlled manner or escalate to higher authority
• Assess actual performance of IT infrastructure against its predicted performance and proactively remediate any deviations, with vendors if necessary
• Create and maintain technical documentation to support IT service
• Identify weaknesses in used processes and eliminate them following industry and internal standards
• Plan, implement and maintain a stable technical infrastructure to support organization's business
• Serve as technical lead to provide clear and comprehensive release and deployment plans
• Deliver effective training plans and concepts to train other employees and ensure their fulfillment
• Provide installation, configuration and support for LAN/WAN/Wireless solutions working with vendors such as Cisco (switches, AP's), MERAKI, Juniper (switches), MIST, and Aerohive (AP's)
• Investigate and create tickets (TAC cases, problem tickets, incidents) in order to maintain service to customers
• Control implementation/rollout plans describing all necessary steps to deliver successful migration of designed standard solution

Your Profile

We are looking for an experienced Network Infrastructure Specialist with expertise in LAN/WAN/Wireless solutions, strong technical knowledge of Cisco, Meraki, Juniper, and other networking platforms, along with relevant certifications and proven experience in IT infrastructure management.

Must Have Skills

• Secondary education in Information Technologies
• 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure
• At least one certificate for relevant platform (CCNA or JNCIA)
• Expert level core platform knowledge
• Intermediate level related platform knowledge
• Experience with installation, configuration and support for LAN/WAN/Wireless solutions
• Experience with Cisco switches and access points
• Experience with Meraki solutions
• Experience with Juniper switches
• Experience with MIST solutions
• Experience with Aerohive access points
• Knowledge of TCP/IP
• Knowledge of STP (Spanning Tree Protocol)
• Knowledge of VLAN
• Knowledge of QOS (Quality of Service)
• Knowledge of HSRP/VRRP
• Knowledge of Wireless technologies
• Knowledge of Routing
• Strong communication skills
• Team player abilities

• Financial literacy in respective business area

Salary: Final salary is negotiable.

We are offering base salary depending on seniority level and previous experience of candidate. In addition to base salary we provide variable part and other financial benefits. Base salary will not be lower than €1,300 gross.
