About the role
The ICT Operations Specialist provides day-to-day ICT support across Uplyft’s multi-site environment and is the primary point of contact for staff ICT support. The role provides first and second line support, taking ownership of incidents and service requests through to resolution while ensuring technology is reliable, secure and fit for purpose.
Reporting to the Manager ICT, the role works closely with the Systems Administrator, Managed Service Provider (MSP) and ICT vendors to support users, systems and ICT projects. Responsibilities include end-user device provisioning and support, joiner/mover/leaver administration, business applications, telephony, mobile devices, printers, meeting-room technology, connectivity troubleshooting and ICT asset management.
The role provides on-site support across Uplyft’s metropolitan and regional locations, manages assigned work through the ITSM platform and maintains accurate records and documentation.
The position requires strong organisation, customer service and problem-solving skills, with the flexibility to travel and undertake occasional approved after-hours or weekend work when operationally required.
About You
We're looking for someone who brings a proactive, customer-focused approach.
Experience in providing Level 1 and Level 2 ICT support in a Microsoft environment, including Windows, Microsoft 365 and end-user devices.
Ability to take ownership of incidents and service requests, independently troubleshooting issues and seeing them through to resolution.
Experience in user and device administration, including provisioning, configuration and joiner, mover and leaver activities.
Confident supporting Microsoft Teams, meeting-room technology, business applications, mobile devices, telephony and peripherals across a multi-site environment.
Organised and methodical, with experience using ITSM/service desk systems and maintaining accurate ICT asset and service records.
Customer-focused, approachable and a strong communicator who works collaboratively, uses sound judgement and knows when to resolve or escalate an issue.
Adaptable and proactive, with a commitment to continuous improvement, professional development and providing on-site support across metro and regional locations.
Desirable: Relevant ICT qualifications or industry certifications, experience with Intune/MDM and exposure to cyber security practices such as the Essential Eight.
