We’re looking for an experienced ICT Project Manager to join us for a 12-month fixed term role to drive the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of technology projects. These projects may include ERP and business system implementations, infrastructure upgrades, network enhancements, cybersecurity initiatives, and operational technology projects.
In this role, you’ll be the link between business needs and technical delivery, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business outcomes. You'll work closely with stakeholders across the organisation and with external delivery partners to successfully deliver projects that support NZ King Salmon's future growth.
Key aspects of this role include:
- Define project scope, objectives, deliverables, and success criteria with stakeholders.
- Develop and manage project plans, schedules, budgets, and resources.
- Lead and coordinate the delivery of multiple concurrent ICT and operational technology projects.
- Identify and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies, and implement effective mitigation strategies.
- Build strong relationships with business units, ICT team, and external partners to ensure alignment and collaboration.
- Facilitate project governance, reporting, and stakeholder communications.
- Support business readiness and change adoption activities to maximise project success.
- Identify opportunities to improve project management practices, tools, and processes across the organisation.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A recognised Project Management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2, Agile, MSP, or equivalent).
- 5+ years’ experience delivering ICT & business transformation projects in complex environments.
- Experience in cybersecurity, infrastructure, operational technology, integration or business system projects.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Strong planning, organisation, and problem-solving capabilities.
- The ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.
- A collaborative, proactive approach and strong attention to detail.
If you are ready to lead impactful ICT projects that shape how our organisation works and grows, we’d love to hear from you!
