ICT Technician

About the role

Provide first-line technical support to employees across all CIMA sites and RMC Unipati. Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently. Ensure minimal downtime for business and production operations. Offer 24/7/365 on-call IT support to address critical system failures and emergencies.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first-line technical support to employees across all CIMA sites and RMC Unipati
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues efficiently
• Ensure minimal downtime for business and production operations
• Offer 24/7/365 on-call IT support to address critical system failures and emergencies
• Install, configure, and maintain computers, printers, and IT peripherals
• Perform regular software updates, patches, and system upgrades
• Maintain and track IT assets, licenses, and inventory across CIMA and RMC Unipati locations
• Assist in the setup, monitoring, and maintenance of network infrastructure (routers, switches, firewalls, and Wi-Fi)
• Ensure network connectivity and security compliance across all sites, including RMC Unipati
• Support server and cloud-based systems, including backups and recovery processes

About you

• Certificate or Diploma in Computer Studies, Information Technology, or a related field
• Experience in troubleshooting and maintaining computer systems, printers, and other peripherals
• Understanding of network configurations, TCP/IP protocols, and basic network troubleshooting
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux operating systems, including user account management and system updates
• Awareness of cybersecurity principles and the ability to implement security measures to protect company data
