Role & responsibilities
Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the Intensive Care Unit.
Monitor and assess patients' vital signs and medical conditions, ensuring timely interventions.
Administer medications and treatments as per the physician's orders and hospital protocols.
Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop and implement patient care plans.
Offer emotional support and information to patients' families and caregivers.
Maintain accurate and detailed clinical documentation of patient care and progress.
Assist in emergency situations, providing rapid response and critical care support.
Conduct regular patient assessments and adjust care plans as necessary.
Ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and report any malfunctions promptly.
Participate in continuing education to stay updated with the latest ICU nursing practices.
