ICU RN (Full-Time, Night Shift)

Role Overview: This position involves providing direct patient care in a 6-bed ICU with a 2:1 nurse-to-patient ratio, focusing on acute cardiac and critical care patients.

Responsibilities:

• Assess, diagnose, plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care according to standards.

• Promote patient and family-centered care, offering education on managing illnesses, medications, and post-discharge needs.

• Develop and document individualized care plans, ensuring effective communication across care teams.

• Participate in safety, quality, and regulatory activities, and engage in ongoing professional development.

• Use critical nursing skills to evaluate physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs while respecting patient preferences and cultural factors.

Qualifications & Skills:

• RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate’s degree; Bachelor’s preferred.

• Experience in nursing; 2+ years of critical care experience is preferred.

• Ability to work safely in a high-alert environment.

• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills.
