Job Description

Universal BIM & CAD Technical Solutions LLC – Dubai is looking for an experienced ID Draftsman (Interior Design Draftsman) to join our growing team.

The ideal candidate should have strong experience in interior design drafting, AutoCAD, detailed drawings, joinery, and interior fit-out projects, with good knowledge of UAE construction and fit-out practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare detailed interior design and fit-out drawings using AutoCAD.
• Prepare plans, elevations, sections, reflected ceiling plans, and detailed drawings.
• Prepare detailed drawings for partitions, ceilings, flooring, wall finishes, doors, and other interior elements.
• Prepare joinery and furniture shop drawings.
• Prepare detailed drawings for custom-made furniture, counters, wardrobes, cabinets, and other joinery works.
• Coordinate ID drawings with architectural, structural, MEP, and other services.
• Revise drawings based on consultant, client, contractor, and site comments.
• Prepare drawings based on approved designs, specifications, and site conditions.
• Coordinate with designers, engineers, site teams, consultants, and contractors.
• Assist in resolving drawing and technical issues during construction.
• Ensure drawings are accurate and comply with project requirements.
• Maintain proper drawing revisions and project documentation.
• Prepare as-built drawings based on actual site conditions.
• Complete drawings accurately and within project deadlines.

Requirements

• 4–5 years of relevant UAE experience as an ID Draftsman is mandatory.
• Diploma or relevant qualification in Interior Design, Architecture, Civil Engineering, or Drafting.
• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD.
• Strong knowledge of interior fit-out and construction detailing.
• Experience in preparing interior design, fit-out, and joinery shop drawings.
• Good understanding of materials, finishes, ceiling details, partitions, flooring, and joinery.
• Ability to read and understand architectural and interior design drawings.
• Knowledge of UAE construction and fit-out practices.
• Revit / SketchUp / 3D software knowledge is an advantage.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to meet project deadlines.
• Candidates currently available in the UAE are preferred.
• Immediate joiners are preferred.
