IDC Infrastructure Architect

Job Duties

• Lead data center infrastructure planning, delivery, and operations.

• Oversee MMR, ODF, fibre optic, structured cabling, cross-connect, carrier connectivity, and cable containment services.

• Manage infrastructure capacity, expansion planning, and connectivity service provisioning to support business growth.

• Drive infrastructure projects, including design, implementation, testing, commissioning, and handover.

• Act as the escalation point for operational incidents, customer issues, service degradation, and technical troubleshooting.

• Coordinate with customers, carriers, vendors, contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders on infrastructure and service delivery matters.

• Ensure compliance with engineering standards, industry best practices, safety requirements, and project governance.

• Support technical solution design, customer engagements, budgeting, procurement, and vendor evaluations.

Requirements

• Degree in Telecommunications, Electronic, Electrical, Computer Engineering, IT, Building Services, Construction Engineering, or related disciplines.
• 10+ years of experience in architecture design / project delivery / operations, with managerial or supervisory experience.
• Strong MMR, ODF, fibre infrastructure, structured cabling, cross-connect, and carrier interconnection services.
• Experience in data center IDC infrastructure design, capacity planning, project management, and service delivery.
• Familiarity with testing & commissioning/ incident management/ SLA governance and operational support environments.
• Knowledge of ANSI/TIA-568, ANSI/TIA-942, ISO/IEC 11801, and BICSI standards.
• Experience working with vendors, carriers, contractors, and service providers.
• Preferred certifications such as PMP, PRINCE2, BICSI RCDD, CDCP, CDCS, or CDCE.
• Good command in spoken and written Chinese and English.
