IT Technician / IT Engineer

Location: São Paulo, Brazil / São Paulo de Olivença, Amazonas, Brazil

Key Responsibilities

• IT Infrastructure Support: Install, maintain, and troubleshoot servers, switches, network cabling, monitoring systems, and related data center infrastructure.
• Hardware & Network Troubleshooting: Perform hardware replacement, connectivity checks, system diagnostics, and technical issue resolution.
• Incident Management: Handle service tickets, troubleshoot incidents, escalate complex issues, and support SLA compliance.
• Technical Coordination: Collaborate with engineers, vendors, and remote teams to resolve technical issues and support project delivery.
• Maintenance & Operations: Support routine inspections, equipment maintenance, upgrades, and operational improvements.
• Documentation & Reporting: Maintain equipment records, work orders, incident reports, and technical documentation.
• Process Compliance: Follow established SOPs, safety requirements, change management procedures, and data center operational standards.

Requirements

• Education & Experience: Relevant education or experience in IT support, data center operations, computer hardware, networking, NOC, or IT infrastructure. Candidates with different levels of hands-on experience are welcome.
• Technical Skills: Basic to advanced knowledge of servers, networking, Windows/Linux systems, cabling, and hardware troubleshooting.
• Operational Knowledge: Familiarity with ticketing systems, incident management, SLA processes, and technical documentation is preferred.
• Language Skills: Portuguese fluency required. English proficiency required for technical documentation, meetings, and communication with international teams. Mandarin Chinese is a plus.
• Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and troubleshooting abilities, attention to detail, teamwork, and the ability to work under pressure.
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience in cloud or data center environments; familiarity with TCP/IP, VLAN, switching, routing, fiber/copper cabling, and monitoring tools; hands-on experience with server installation, hardware replacement, or network equipment maintenance. Certifications such as CCNA, ITIL, AWS, or Linux are a plus.

Position Assignment: Candidates may be considered for either the IT Technician or IT Engineer position based on their technical skills, relevant experience, and interview performance.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: R$10,000.00 - R$15,000.00 per month
