IDC Security Manager

About the role

Oversee the construction of a full-scenario data center security management system, aligning with regulatory and headquarters standards to cover the entire process of physical security, data protection and operation management.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the construction of a full-scenario data center security management system, aligning with regulatory and headquarters standards to cover the entire process of physical security, data protection and operation management
• Formulate security management rules and emergency response plans, organize regular practical drills for fire safety, intrusion prevention and data leakage scenarios, to establish a closed-loop full-link security control
• Lead daily special security risk inspections, supervise the rectification of hidden dangers at core nodes including power, cooling and network in a graded manner, and deliver security operation analysis reports
• Liaise with local regulatory authorities such as cyberspace administration and public security bureaus to complete security compliance filing and audit reception, and iteratively update internal control processes adapted to the latest policies
• Organize company-wide security training, standardize the full-process security control for entry and operation of outsourced personnel and visitors, to eliminate human-induced operational security risks

About you

• Associate degree or higher in safety engineering, fire protection engineering, mechanical and electrical, electrical engineering, or related fields
• More than 3 years of experience in data center or large-scale campus security management
• Familiar with the safety risk characteristics of IDC data center rooms: battery rooms, oil storage areas, diesel generator rooms, high-voltage power distribution, gas fire suppression systems, cold aisles, and key points for safety management in liquid-cooled data centers
• Proficient in fire protection systems, security access control and surveillance, visitor management, and full-process control of high-risk operations
• Capable of hazard identification, risk assessment, emergency response plan development, and incident investigation and post-incident review
• Strong awareness of local compliance requirements and capable of researching and interpreting Thai regulations related to fire safety, security, and workplace safety
• Capable of cross-team coordination, able to collaborate with operations, engineering, and customer service teams to implement security requirements
• Proficient in Office, capable of independently producing risk reports, safety monthly reports, and rectification plans
• Familiar with Thai labor laws, fire safety, electrical, construction, BOI/EEC, and safety regulations; capable of independently liaising with local government agencies and suppliers
• Fluent in Chinese, English, and Thai with no barriers in reading, writing, or speaking
