Responsibilities

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs).
• Administer medication safely and accurately in accordance with care plans and protocols
• Support clients with intellectual and developmental disabilities through tailored activities and behavior management strategies
• Operate manual handling techniques to ensure safe patient lifting practices during transfers or repositioning
• Maintain detailed documentation using Electronic Medical Record (EMR) systems to track progress and incidents
• Uphold residents’ rights by respecting privacy, dignity, and individual preferences at all times
• Engage clients in social activities to promote community integration and personal development
• Follow safety protocols including first aid procedures, CPR certification standards, and emergency response plans**.**
• Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities or cognitive impairments highly desirable but not necessary.
• Ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members
• Good driving record and ability to obtain Class E drivers license for client transportation purposes
