About Marvell Marvell’s semiconductor solutions are the essential building blocks of the data infrastructure that connects our world. Across enterprise, cloud and AI, and carrier architectures, our innovative technology is enabling new possibilities.

At Marvell, you can affect the arc of individual lives, lift the trajectory of entire industries, and fuel the transformative potential of tomorrow. For those looking to make their mark on purposeful and enduring innovation, above and beyond fleeting trends, Marvell is a place to thrive, learn, and lead.

Your Team, Your Impact Marvell is seeking a Senior level Identity & Access Management (IAM) Engineer with deep SailPoint Identity Security Cloud expertise to own and drive the technical direction of IAM across the enterprise.

What You Can Expect

  • Drive the implementation of IAM technical architecture, with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud as the core governance platform, creating reference architectures aligned with security posture, and operational efficiency.

  • Drive the integration of AI assisted IAM capabilities to improve decision quality, reduce manual effort, risk and champion use cases such as:

  • Intelligent access recommendations

  • Role and entitlement optimization

  • Risk based certification prioritization

  • Identity anomaly and outlier detection

  • Make high impact technical decisions in areas of ambiguity, balancing risk, and scale.

  • Lead the design and evolution of SailPoint ISC implementations, including identity lifecycle automation, access governance, role models, certifications, and integrations.

  • Set engineering standards for rules, transforms, workflows, REST/SCIM integrations, and connector patterns.

  • Drive reliability and scale of JML processes, ensuring strong controls, observability, and operational resilience.

  • Architect and mature RBAC and entitlement-based governance models, including SoD and policy-driven access controls.

  • Partner with Security teams to ensure IAM capabilities support audit readiness and compliance outcomes without introducing friction.

  • Evaluate emerging vendor capabilities and influence platform adoption decisions with a long-term, architectural mindset.

  • Serve as a trusted technical partner to application teams, infrastructure, security leadership, and audit stakeholders.

  • Influence IAM adoption patterns across engineering teams without direct authority.

What We're Looking For The ideal candidate will focus on defining architecture and influencing cross functional teams. The individual will serve as an IAM subject matter expert, responsible for evolving Marvell’s IAM capabilities toward a scalable, intelligent, and automation first identity platform, including the thoughtful adoption of AI driven IAM capabilities.

Technical Competencies

  • Expert level hands-on experience with SailPoint Identity Security Cloud, including architecture, rules, workflows, transforms, roles, and certifications.
  • Deep understanding of enterprise identity lifecycle management and HR driven provisioning.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Entra ID, including authentication, Conditional Access, and identity governance integration points.
  • Solid foundation in Active Directory architecture, group strategy, and directory security.
  • Strong grasp of IGA concepts (RBAC, SoD, least privilege) and their real-world tradeoffs.
  • Automation and scripting experience (PowerShell, APIs, or equivalent).
  • Knowledge of Zero Trust and IAM security best practices.
  • Experience with privileged access workflows preferred.

Education & Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  • 10+ years of progressive IAM experience, with demonstrated ownership of complex SailPoint environments.
  • Proven experience operating at a senior level, influencing architecture and outcomes beyond a single team.
  • SailPoint or IAM certification preferred.
  • Strong ability to communicate technical decisions and tradeoffs across engineering and senior leadership audiences.

This role is eligible to participate in Marvell's bonus and equity plans, including a new hire equity grant and annual equity refreshers, ensuring you are rewarded for your contributions and remain invested in the company's long-term success.
