IE Engineer

Job Responsibilities

1. Plan and improve production processes based on Industrial Engineering and Lean Manufacturing principles to increase production efficiency.
2. Analyze and improve Line Balancing, Work in Process (WIP), and production capacity to meet customer demand.
3. Analyze and resolve bottlenecks in production processes to improve efficiency and reduce production losses.
4. Plan and manage Tooling Capacity to support production plans and customer requirements.
5. Calculate and analyze Direct Labor requirements to ensure appropriate manpower planning in line with production volume.
6. Design and improve production layouts based on Line Balancing principles and production flow.
7. Conduct Cost Studies for new products and new production processes.
8. Conduct UPH Studies, Cost Studies, and ROI Analysis to support Automation and process improvement projects.
9. Support IE and Lean Manufacturing projects and follow up on improvement results to achieve project targets.
10. Control and improve production processes to meet requirements for quality, cost, and efficiency.
11. Ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, ISO 22301, and RBA requirements and company policies.
12. Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

1. Bachelor's degree or higher in Industrial Engineering or a related field.
2. 2–5 years of experience in Industrial Engineering or Production Engineering.
3. Good knowledge of Industrial Engineering techniques, including Work Study, Time Study, Cost Study, and Line Balancing.
4. Good understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles and production process improvement.
5. Knowledge of production process analysis, Bottleneck Analysis, and Capacity Planning.
6. Knowledge of Production Layout, Manpower Planning, and Tooling Capacity Planning.
7. Ability to analyze data and conduct Cost, UPH, and ROI studies to support improvement and Automation projects.
8. Strong problem-solving, analytical, and process improvement skills.
9. Good command of Microsoft Office, especially Microsoft Excel.
10. Good communication and coordination skills with cross-functional teams.
11. Responsible, proactive, and able to work effectively as part of a team and under pressure.
