• Lead Project & efforts to eliminate waste throughout the organization and help enable the business for growth.
• Oversee the establishment of factory industrial engineering systems, lean improvement, capacity planning, efficiency enhancement, cost optimization and production line standardization. Implement cost reduction, efficiency improvement, quality enhancement and cycle time reduction via professional IE methodologies to support the achievement of annual factory operational and production targets.

Activities/ Tasks

• Work with Production team to implement improvements in manufacturing and other areas needed.
• Facilitate Point and System Kaizen Events
• Facilitate with process owners to make Lean implementation plan, drive and track savings
• Ensure control plans, poka yoke, TPM are developed and updated for each line
• IE System Establishment & Standardization Management Lead the construction and iterative optimization of factory IE. Take full charge of the measurement, calculation, update, maintenance and version control of factory Standard cycle time and routing. Build a scientific standard working hour database based on product processes, operational movements, man-machine collaboration and allowance coefficients to eliminate inflated working hours and disordered standards. Lead the compilation, review and implementation of production SOPs, workstation operation standards, workflow specifications and manpower allocation standards. Promote standardized operations across all workshops to unify operational movements, processes and outputs, and reduce operational discrepancies and production wastes from the source.
• Factory Layout, Production Line & Capacity Planning Workshop material flow design and production line layout optimization in accordance with annual capacity targets, new product introduction plans and order fluctuation trends. Supporting Central manufacturing team to set up new production line, old production line renovation and relocation, and process restructuring to optimize the configuration of man, machine, material, method and environment. Conduct regular capacity load analysis and line balancing analysis, predict capacity bottlenecks in advance, ensure stable order delivery and meet mass production and ramp-up requirements.
• Production Efficiency Enhancement Lead factory-wide lean improvement initiatives. Proficiently apply core IE tools including IE seven methods, ECRS principles, VSM (Value Stream Mapping), bottleneck analysis, motion analysis and line balance analysis to identify seven major production wastes: waiting, transportation, inventory, over-processing, rework & defects, unnecessary motions and manpower waste. Carry out targeted optimization of production line balance, process merging and simplification, operational motion improvement and man-machine matching to continuously increase line balance rate, per capita output and production operation rate. Lead special efficiency improvement projects to resolve production bottlenecks, shorten manufacturing lead time, reduce WIP (Work in Progress) inventory, achieve annual quantifiable cost reduction and efficiency improvement targets, and deliver measurable improvement results.
• Production Cost & Manpower Efficiency Control Manage and control of factory manpower cost, manufacturing efficiency and working hour cost, and establish manpower allocation, efficiency calculation and cost analysis models.

Conduct regular reviews of manpower efficiency, working hour loss and overtime cost, and deliver optimization solutions for manpower redundancy, low-efficiency operations and working hour waste to streamline staffing, optimize scheduling and standardize working hours.

Cooperate with controlling team to analyze manufacturing expenses, labor costs and capacity costs, issue monthly cost reduction and efficiency analysis reports, and provide accurate data support for corporate operation decision-making, order pricing and capacity quotation.

• New Product Introduction & Process Optimization Deeply participate in the full process of new Product Introduction, new process implementation and mass production ramp-up. Get involved in prototype trial production and small-batch pilot production in advance to evaluate process rationality, operational feasibility, production line adaptability and efficiency bottlenecks from an IE perspective. Lead the production line process layout, operation flow design, initial standard time setting and workstation division for new products, so as to avoid efficiency defects, process loopholes and operational wastes in mass production. Follow up on mass production process abnormalities, cooperate with process, quality and production teams to analyze root causes, and implement error-proofing improvements in terms of process, layout and operation methods to continuously enhance mass production process stability and operational efficiency.
• Team Management & Department Operation Responsible for IE team building, recruitment, training & development, work arrangement, performance appraisal and talent echelon construction.

Formulate annual and monthly work plans and key project lists for the team, and decompose and implement overall targets.

Manage daily department operations, review subordinates’ working hour calculation, improvement schemes, layout plans and data analysis reports to ensure high-quality deliverables.

Organize internal training on IE professional skills, lean tools and improvement thinking to enhance team competence.

Foster a factory-wide lean improvement atmosphere, guide frontline employees to participate in daily improvements, and standardize and replicate empirical improvement experience.

• Cross-functional Collaboration & Project Implementation As the core manager responsible for factory efficiency improvement, lean upgrading and capacity optimization, collaborate with production, quality, process, equipment, purchasing, warehouse and PMC teams to resolve production process bottlenecks, efficiency constraints, material flow obstacles and redundant processes. Supporting lean improvement, Lead projects of cost reduction and efficiency enhancement, covering project initiation, scheme formulation, process follow-up, data verification, result solidification and standard precipitation.

Ensure all projects are fully closed-loop with quantifiable results and replicable experience.

Undertake annual operational targets assigned by superiors and deliver regular work reports and review summaries. Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree or above in Engineering, Industrial or Business preferred or equivalent experience 2. 5+ years of experience. Familiar with engineering, contract management, procurement and lean processes; 3+ years of Supervisory experience
• Fluent in English as work language
