About Us

Suncore Immigration Solutions works with a licensed Canadian-based immigration firm to help students and professionals take the next step in their international careers. A strong IELTS score is often the first step on that path. We're looking for an experienced IELTS Instructor to join our DHA Phase 6 office and help our clients reach their target band scores.

Role Overview

As an IELTS Instructor, you will plan and deliver IELTS preparation classes for Academic and General Training candidates. You will cover all four modules: Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking. You'll assess each student's level, build a study plan around their target band, and track their progress through to test day. This is a permanent, full-time role for someone who has already taught IELTS and is ready to grow with us.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging IELTS preparation classes (Academic and General Training) to groups and individual students
• Teach all four modules (Listening, Reading, Writing and Speaking) with clear strategies for each task type
• Conduct placement tests and assess each student's starting level and target band score
• Design lesson plans, practice materials and study schedules suited to different levels
• Run regular mock tests under exam conditions and give detailed, band-based feedback
• Evaluate Writing tasks and Speaking practice against official IELTS band descriptors
• Track student progress and keep accurate records of attendance and results
• Give one-on-one guidance to students who need extra support
• Coordinate with our immigration and career advisors on students' timelines and score requirements
• Stay up to date with changes to the IELTS test format and scoring
• Support counselling sessions and occasional seminars or demo classes when needed

Requirements

• Proven experience teaching IELTS (minimum [1–2] years preferred)
• Bachelor's degree in English, Linguistics, Education or a related field (Master's is a plus)
• Strong command of spoken and written English
• Thorough understanding of the IELTS format, band descriptors and scoring criteria
• Ability to teach students of different levels and backgrounds
• Good classroom management and communication skills
• Punctual, organised and results-driven

Nice to Have

• TESOL, CELTA, TEFL or a similar teaching certification
• Experience with PTE, TOEFL, Duolingo English Test or Spoken English classes
• Familiarity with student visa or immigration processes, especially for Canada
• Ability to deliver online classes as well as in person
