About the Opportunity

Join us as an IFR Pilot in Middlefield, Ohio, and help provide critical air medical transport services. In this role, you will serve as an EC135 SPIFR/NVG captain, supporting safe and efficient patient transportation while contributing to community healthcare and outreach initiatives. Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary pilot for EC135 SPIFR/NVG helicopter air ambulance operations.
• Perform line-pilot duties in accordance with CAMTS guidelines and General Operating Manuals (GOM).
• Support and promote aviation safety programs.
• Participate in community outreach initiatives.
• Collaborate with customers and assist with patient and equipment loading.
• Work a rotating 7-days-on, 7-days-off schedule covering day and night shifts.

Requirements

• Hold Commercial and Instrument Helicopter Ratings.
• Maintain a current First Class Medical Certificate.
• Meet CAMTS flight experience requirements, including:

-2,000 total flight hours.

-1,500 helicopter flight hours.

-1,000 hours as Pilot in Command (PIC) in helicopters.

-500 hours in turbine helicopters.

-100 hours of unaided night flight time, or 50 hours of unaided night flight time and 100 hours using Night Vision Goggles (NVG).

-75 hours of instrument time, including actual and simulated instrument conditions.

• Meet the company's flight personnel weight restriction of 235 pounds or less.
• Demonstrate strong verbal and written communication skills and excellent customer service abilities.
• Successfully complete an interview and obtain acceptance from management and customers.
• Pass pre-placement physical, strength, and flexibility assessments, including the ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
• Successfully complete drug screening and background checks.
• Reside within a one-hour commute of the assigned base.
