Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze business requirements, translating them into effective IFS application configurations and solutions.
• Design, develop, and implement system enhancements within the IFS platform, ensuring alignment with enterprise architecture standards.
• Lead solution architecture efforts by integrating IFS with other enterprise systems such as Salesforce, Pegasystems, and various database systems including SQL, PostgreSQL, and NoSQL databases.
• Perform system testing, troubleshooting, and debugging to ensure optimal performance and reliability of IFS modules.
• Develop and maintain technical documentation related to system design, configuration management, and integration processes.
• Support software development lifecycle (SDLC) activities including version control, continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD), and Agile methodologies.
• Provide technical troubleshooting support for complex system issues involving system hardening, vulnerability assessment, load balancing, cloud security (AWS), and network configurations such as VPNs and firewalls.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an IFS Functional Consultant role with a strong understanding of IFS Applications modules.
• Extensive knowledge of service-oriented architecture (SOA), solution architecture design, and systems integration techniques.
• Proficiency in SQL scripting, database management (MySQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL), and application development using languages such as C#, JavaScript, Python or Java.
• Familiarity with IT infrastructure components including operating systems (Windows/Linux), virtualization (VMware/ESXi), cloud platforms (Azure/AWS), and container orchestration tools like Kubernetes.
• Strong business analysis skills with the ability to conduct requirements analysis and translate business needs into technical specifications.
• Experience working with enterprise solutions implementation involving APIs (RESTful/SOAP), web services, microservices architecture, and DevOps practices such as Jenkins or Git for version control.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical teams, stakeholders, and clients.
• Knowledge of cybersecurity principles including system hardening, vulnerability management, threat intelligence, and information security best practices.
