You'll work across the full development lifecycle, from gathering customer requirements and designing intuitive HMIs to integrating field devices, developing custom scripts and commissioning SCADA solutions at customer sites. With travel accounting for approximately 30-40% of the role, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with customers and see projects through to delivery.

This role would suit an Ignition Developer based in the Houston area who enjoys a mix of hands-on development, customer interaction and travel, with the opportunity to deepen their expertise across SCADA and automation technologies.

The Position:

• Develop, enhance and optimize Ignition SCADA systems, including HMI design and implementation
• Integrate field devices and automation systems, developing custom scripts and software to meet project requirements
• Write SQL queries and work with relational databases to support data integration and system functionality
• Collaborate with customers to gather requirements, design technical solutions and support projects through delivery
• Travel approximately 30-40% of the time to customer sites for project implementation, commissioning and support

The Person:

• 3+ years of relevant experience in SCADA development, with proven hands-on experience using Ignition
• Strong knowledge of HMI development, field device integration and industrial automation systems
• Proficiency in SQL and Python scripting, with experience working with relational databases
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to work directly with customers and translate requirements into technical solutions
• Based in the Houston area and willing to travel 30-40% of the time
