Iis Administrator

Role : IIS Admin (Note: Not limited as IIS Admin, need experience in related technologies mentioned in below JD)

Experience: 5 to 8 years

Type: Hybrid

Location: Bengaluru

Daily Activities:

• Perform health checks and ensure all DataStage and Tomcat services are up
• Monitor IBM DataStage and Tomcat servers for disk space utilization and password expiry alerts, and address issues proactively.
• Troubleshoot job failures and provide timely resolutions or workarounds.
• Handle user access requests including user creation, modification, deletion, and role/permission management in DataStage.
• Add, modify, and delete users in the PSS portal.
• Create and maintain DSN's and validate connectivity with source and target systems such as Redshift, S3, SAP, DB2, and SFTP etc...
• Coordinate with AWS Infrastructure teams for cloud-related dependencies and issues.
• Track and address application (DataStage, Tomcat) and OS-level vulnerabilities to ensure compliance and maintain zero overdue vulnerabilities.
• Support POC related projects(MWAA ,Iceberg,Quality stage , IA(Information Analyzer) & AI )

Weekly Activities:
Execute the Orion script every Friday and share the report with the ETL team.
Monthly / Quarterly / Periodic Activities:

• Perform upgrades including fix packs, service packs, and SDK for DataStage , WAS and version upgrade for Tomcat.
• Execute monthly DR mock drills and support quarterly disaster recovery drills.
• Raise and follow up on PMR's with IBM for unresolved or critical issues.
• Share IASP reports with EY quarterly.
• Coordinate with Linux support team for OS patching activities for both DataStage and Tomcat servers(Monthly)
• Coordinate with Linux support & AWS Infra Team for resource upgrades as required
