For more than 26 years, we have provided on-site educational services in hospitals, helping these school-age patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently, we are seeking passionate and creative teachers to assist with our growing need for virtual tutoring. This unique position will involve working remotely, providing academic support to middle and high school students as they are out of school for medical, behavioral, or various unique reasons. Teachers must be IL PEL LBS1 certified and can assist with K-12 core subjects, however many of our students need assistance in high school math and science.

In this role, teachers provide virtual tutoring support to students on a 1:1 and small group setting with the main responsibility is to act as an aide for the student, guiding them through educational material and ensuring their academic success.

Availability and Schedule :

Position requires consistent availability Monday–Friday between 8:00 AM–10:00 PM EST, with a minimum commitment of 12.5 hours per week. Preference will be given to candidates who can increase availability during our peak season (November–early June). This is a 100% remote role, and candidates must have a reliable internet connection and a computer in their home workspace.

Compensation:

$28/hr and compensated for both instructional sessions and designated daily administrative time.

• B.A/B.S. degree from an accredited institution
• IL PEL LBS1 teaching license
• Comfortable working with Middle and High school students
• Strong organizational skills
• Understanding of subject matter relevant to student needs, especially in upper level Math and Science
• Reliable internet connection, working computer and distraction free work space
