About the role
We are seeking a talented and creative Illustrator to join our Design team on a full-time basis in Bandung, West Java. This role is central to our creative output, as you will be responsible for producing engaging and visually striking illustrations that communicate our clients' messages effectively. As an Illustrator, you will play a vital part in transforming concepts into compelling visual assets that resonate with diverse audiences and contribute to the success of our creative projects.

Key responsibilities

• Create original illustrations and visual designs for various merchandise products such as umbrellas, keychains, T-shirts, tote bags, mugs, stationery, and other promotional items.
• Develop creative concepts and artwork based on brand identity, campaign themes, and merchandise requirements.
• Adapt illustrations into different product sizes, shapes, and printing formats while maintaining visual consistency.
• Prepare print-ready artwork and ensure proper file formats, dimensions, colors, and resolutions.
• Collaborate with the Marketing, Creative, and Product teams to develop relevant and appealing merchandise designs.
• Revise and refine designs based on feedback from internal teams.
• Keep up with current illustration, design, and merchandise trends to generate fresh and engaging ideass

What we're looking for

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Visual Communication Design, Illustration, Fine Arts, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Illustrator, Graphic Designer, or Merchandise Designer.
• Strong illustration and visual storytelling skills with a creative and distinctive style.
• Proficient in design and illustration software such as Adobe Illustrator, Adobe Photoshop, Procreate, or equivalent.
• Understanding of printing techniques, color modes, file preparation, and production requirements.
• Able to adapt designs for various merchandise formats and materials.
• Creative, detail-oriented, and able to translate ideas into visually appealing artwork.
• Able to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team.
• Portfolio showcasing illustration and merchandise-related work is required.
