About the Role

Stash House Tattoo Pty Ltd T/A Blood Money Tattoo is seeking a talented and creative Illustrator to join our team on a full-time basis.

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing original illustrations, artwork concepts and creative materials for tattoo artwork, merchandise, branding, advertising and digital and print media.

You will work closely with customers, tattoo artists and studio management to develop creative concepts that meet client requirements and align with the company's creative and branding objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Produce original illustrations, stencils and sketches for tattoo artwork for customers of the business and formulate design concepts.
• Produce original illustrations and artwork concepts for digital and print media.
• Create image collections for customers.
• Design custom creative concepts for clients.
• Prepare digital artwork using Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop.
• Collaborate with artists and studio managers.
• Work with customers to determine the objectives and constraints of design briefs.
• Modify, revise and negotiate artwork and designs with clients and staff.
• Maintain creative quality standards across all artwork.
• Select, specify or recommend functional and aesthetic tools and ink.
• Develop creative visual materials for company branding, advertising and promotional/marketing campaigns.
• Design illustrations for merchandise, apparel, posters, printed publications and online marketing content.
• Collaborate with management to develop creative campaigns aligned with company branding objectives.
• Research market trends and innovative illustration techniques to improve creative output.

Skills and Experience

The successful applicant will have:

• A relevant Bachelor's degree or higher qualification, or at least 5 years of relevant experience in a related field.
• Strong illustration and creative design skills.
• Experience creating original artwork and developing creative concepts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Adobe Photoshop.
• Strong understanding of digital and print artwork.
• Ability to interpret creative briefs and translate client requirements into visual concepts.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a creative team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality creative standards.
