ILS Specialists

We are seeking experienced Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Specialists to join a major defence program in Melbourne on an initial 12-month engagements.

Working alongside experienced ILS and engineering professionals, you will provide hands-on support across a range of ILS, reliability, maintainability and through-life support activities, contributing to the development and delivery of effective support solutions for complex maritime systems.

Key Responsibilities

Depending on experience, your responsibilities may include:

• Developing and maintaining Logistics Support and Configuration structures to support through-life management.
• Undertaking FMEA/FMECA, RCM and LORA assessments to identify failure modes, maintenance requirements and appropriate levels of repair.
• Conducting maintenance and operator task analysis and developing supporting maintenance strategies and procedures.
• Performing reliability and maintainability analysis to inform supportability, spares and consumables requirements.
• Supporting the development and review of ILS deliverables, technical documentation and engineering analysis.
• Working closely with engineering, logistics and other multidisciplinary stakeholders to develop practical through-life support solutions.
• Presenting analysis, findings and recommendations to internal and customer stakeholders, clearly explaining the basis for decisions and supporting endorsement of outcomes.

About You

• 5+ years' experience in ILS, supportability, reliability or a related engineering discipline.
• Demonstrated maritime or naval defence experience
• Current NV1 security clearance.
• Experience across areas such as FMEA/FMECA, LORA, RCM, maintenance task analysis and reliability analysis.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with both technical and customer stakeholders.
