Imaging Coordinator

Job Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Imaging Coordinator to join our healthcare team. In this new role, you will schedule and coordinate the various exams for multiple Radiology modalities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule Radiology procedures using EPIC
• Answer, screen, and route calls in a courteous and respectful manner following departmental guidelines, assisting patients and/or providers accordingly
• Review the necessary patient screening information to safely scan patients while ensuring billing procedures are followed
• Verify insurance eligibility and update as needed
• Collaborate with technologists, on-site radiologists, and/or management to maximize scheduling efforts
• Utilize PACS system as directed
• Provide excellent customer service

Requirements

• EPIC experience is preferred
• Maintain strict adherence to clinical confidentiality policies and healthcare privacy protection standards when handling sensitive patient information
• Proven experience in medical office administration or scheduling
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in managing complex records systems and ensuring regulatory compliance
• Effective communication skills to liaise with clinical teams, patients, and external providers confidently
• Ability to prioritize tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment
