What they need
You know imaging. Come help lead what’s next.
Maybe you are already an imaging leader looking for a place where you can have a greater impact. Or maybe you are the experienced technologist everyone turns to when there is a problem, a new employee needs training, or the team needs someone to step up.
Columbia Orthopaedic Group is looking for an Imaging Manager who wants to develop people, improve processes, work closely with physicians and leadership, and help shape the future of imaging at COG.
This is a working leadership role. You will stay connected to patient care and work alongside your team while also having the opportunity to lead, mentor, and build. As our imaging services continue to evolve, there is also opportunity for the right leader to grow their impact and responsibilities.
Whether you are an experienced imaging leader looking for a new opportunity or a strong technologist ready to take the next step into leadership, we would like to hear from you.
What You'll Do
Lead, support, and develop the imaging team
Coordinate staffing, schedules, and daily workflow to meet patient and physician needs
Work alongside the team as a technologist and provide clinical coverage when needed
Partner with HR on recruitment and lead the onboarding, training, and development of new team members
Provide coaching, feedback, performance management, and clear expectations for the team
Partner closely with physicians and other departments to support efficient, high-quality patient care
Foster and strengthen our existing relationships with area radiologic technology programs while coordinating student clinical rotations
Oversee quality, safety, regulatory standards, departmental operations, and opportunities for continued improvement and growth
Current ARRT certification in Radiography, RT(R)
Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program
Current BLS certification
Strong clinical radiography experience
Strong communication, leadership, organization, and problem-solving skills
Willingness to remain clinically involved and work alongside the team
Preferred
- Previous leadership, supervisory, lead technologist, or management experience
- Experience training and developing technologists
- Experience with additional imaging modalities or ARRT credentials
Formal management experience is preferred but not required. We welcome both seasoned imaging leaders and experienced technologists who have demonstrated strong leadership and are ready for their next opportunity.
This is a full-time position. Our imaging department operates Monday through Friday and Saturday mornings until noon. The Imaging Manager will primarily work during the week but should be available to provide leadership, support, or clinical coverage on Saturdays when needed.
At COG, you will have the opportunity to develop a team, strengthen processes, mentor future technologists, and have a real voice in how your department moves forward. You will work directly with physicians and leadership in an environment where your experience, ideas, and leadership matter.
