Imaging Support Services Associate, Variable

Role Overview: This position involves ensuring timely and accurate communication of imaging results, coordinating patient care, and facilitating smooth operations between radiologists, providers, and patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Answer, locate, and direct calls to providers regarding critical imaging results.
• Act as the primary contact for radiologists, providers, and nursing staff on urgent findings.
• Review reports and send notifications to patients and referring physicians via Epic secure chat, e-fax, and messaging.
• Manage the critical results tracker to ensure timely communication within required timeframes.
• Verify MRI safety for outpatients with implantable devices, following proper protocols.
• Notify providers when devices fail interrogation for alternative care planning.
• Coordinate with the Patient Connection Center to schedule post-interrogation appointments.
• Manage outside imaging requests using Powershare and perform basic office procedures to support daily operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• At least 1 year of call center, dispatching, or related office experience.

Additional Details: This is an on-site role based at Atlantic Station, supporting collaborative care and operational excellence.
