Imaging technician

Deployment Technician

Join a team responsible for preparing and deploying technology equipment for end users across the organization. This is a hands-on role focused on imaging devices, installing software, configuring systems, and preparing equipment for shipment. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable following established deployment processes.

Responsibilities

• Image and configure desktops and laptops according to company standards

• Download, install, and validate required software applications

• Ensure devices are properly configured and ready for deployment

• Pull and install the correct software packages based on deployment requirements

• Perform basic system testing and quality checks prior to shipment

• Package and prepare equipment for delivery to end users

• Track deployment activities and maintain accurate documentation

• Work closely with team members to meet deployment schedules and project deadlines

• Follow established processes for hardware preparation and software installation

• 2+ years of experience in PC deployment, device staging, hardware preparation, or IT support

• Experience installing and configuring Windows-based systems and software applications

• Familiarity with desktop imaging or software deployment processes

• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow documented procedures

• Ability to manage repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy

• Strong organizational and time-management skills

• Ability to lift and move computer equipment as needed

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
