About the Role

Prochant is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Data Analyst to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing reports, analyzing business data, identifying trends, and providing actionable insights that support decision-making. This role requires strong analytical skills, proficiency in Excel, and exposure to reporting and visualization tools.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, maintain, and distribute regular reports and dashboards.
• Analyze data to identify trends, exceptions, patterns, and business opportunities.
• Perform data validation and ensure accuracy, consistency, and reliability of reports.
• Support management with ad-hoc reporting requirements and data analysis requests.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand reporting needs and business requirements.
• Assist in process improvement initiatives and report automation projects.
• Generate meaningful insights and recommendations to support business decisions.
• Monitor and track key business metrics and performance indicators.

Required Skills

• Strong logical, analytical, and problem-solving abilities.
• Good knowledge of Microsoft Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, Formulas, Data Analysis).
• Basic knowledge of SQL.
• Exposure to Power BI or other reporting and visualization tools.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage assigned tasks effectively.

Preferred Skills

• Basic knowledge of Power Query and DAX.
• Understanding of KPIs, business metrics, and reporting frameworks.
• Exposure to automation, reporting enhancements, or process improvement initiatives.
• Experience in creating dashboards and presenting insights to stakeholders.

Educational Qualification

Bachelor’s degree in:

• Engineering
• Mathematics
• Statistics
• Computer Science
• Commerce
• Business Administration
• Or any related discipline
