NOW HIRING: DB2 Database Administrator (IBM z/OS Mainframe)
ONSITE | PERMANENT

This is a highly specialized role for professionals with deep experience in DB2 on IBM z/OS environments. If your background is in mainframe database administration, this opportunity is built for you.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience
• 4+ years (with degree) OR 8+ years (without) in:
• Data center engineering & operations
• Cloud engineering & operations
• Complex IT infrastructure environments

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• DB2 Database Administration (v12 or higher)
• IBM z/OS (mainframe platform)
• Proven ability to:
• Install, configure, and tune DB2 databases
• Execute database recovery, backup, and performance optimization
• Perform DB2 utilities (RUNSTATS, REORG, etc.)
• Monitor database health (logging, response time, recovery processes)
• Experience with:
• Supporting environments across development, testing, and production
• DB2 troubleshooting (online & batch processing)
• Software releases, migrations, and data fixes

Additional Requirements

• Ability to:
• Work with application teams on deployments and fixes
• Create and maintain technical documentation & procedures
• Support disaster recovery activities and system upgrades
• Experience with:
• High-availability environments
• IBM InfoSphere Data Replication (preferred)
